BC Hydro Maintenance

This Project consisted of the replacement of old porcelain cutouts and associated hardware.  Aging porcelain cutouts are prone to failure and a replacement program was implemented to increase system reliability.

Challenges

The winter conditions resulted in decreased access, forcing crews to hike or snowmobile into many sites and climb poles to complete the work for which they would normally use a bucket truck to access.
