PG&E Emergency Event 2017–2018

Allteck was responsible for delivering work on PG&E’s distribution system in the area of Napa, California, supporting emergency restoration efforts. A significant number of customers were left without power due to fires, which required a rapid response and efficient execution from Allteck’s team.

The Challenges

• Scheduling resources and work to allow for efficient execution during emergencies
• Access to the structures was very limited and a significant amount were accessed by air using helicopters
• Working conditions were dangerous as a result of fires, which required more detailed and extensive hazard and risk assessments
