Allteck was proud to support the RAP, Skilled Trades & ICT Fairs at the Lord Beaverbrook High School on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020, alongside our sister company, Canadian Utility Construction (CUC). It is important to our companies to help promote trades in the community and especially with our youth, to bring awareness to skilled trade careers. The work that we do is essential as it affects the lives of everyone. We would like to take a moment to recognize Trevor Wieler (Regional HSE Advisor), Andrew Autenrieth (Lineman – Allteck) and Kyle Keating (Foreman, Gas & Power – CUC) for their great work representing our company and a job well done! Both Andrew and Kyle displayed their “tools in the tool bags” to over 120 students, letting them explore the items and demonstrate the uses. Andrew displayed his Quanta barehand suit and Quanta certificate, he shared the great opportunities he’s had over the course of his career in the powerline industry. Andrew was both charming and positive when speaking to the students and parents, describing the experience of going through the apprentice program and becoming a Lineman. He even broke out his original Quanta barehand belt buckle that he wore with pride, #461.
