TERRACE – Dec. 21, 2018 – Allteck Line Contractors, Inc., a Quanta Services company, is very proud of all its Apprentices but would like to recognize and congratulate Declan McDermott in particular on achieving the Jerry Rector Memorial Award (2007) – Apprentice of the Year for outstanding achievement in the power line technician apprenticeship program today. Every year the Joint Line Apprenticeship Training Association (JLATA) and the Local 258 of IBEW give recognition to an Apprentice who has demonstrated outstanding achievement throughout the year’s apprenticeship training cycle, which includes both in-school and on-the-job performance.
We are very proud of Declan for recently receiving his Red Seal Journeyman status as a Lineman in March 2018. It’s not an easy trade to learn but Declan has proven that he is hardworking and dedicated to his craft. Declan lives in Kitimat, BC and represents our Terrace, BC division. We thank him for his commitment to Allteck and we look forward to further supporting him in his career. We wish all our Apprentices a long, healthy and safe career.
